Paul joined Vale in 2008. He started working in the financial services industry in 1979 and enjoyed a successful career in sales, service and management in three large financial institutions. Having known the founder members of Vale for many years he joined them in 2008. He is proud of his status as a Chartered Financial Planner, a title that can be used by only a very small percentage of financial advisors. This has been awarded through professional examinations together with relevant experience.

Paul never loses sight of the trust that his clients put in him and how the advice he gives can have an enormous impact on their current and future financial well being. Living by the motto of ‘if you wouldn’t recommend it to your closest friends and family, don’t recommend it to your clients’ he can be relied on to put his client’s best interest at the centre of all he does at Vale. With a broad range of personal and corporate clients he is always happy to spend as much time as the client needs to fully understand the issues and the options available.

Paul was born and brought up in a hard working family in Salford. He now lives with his wife and daughter in Appleton. He is a keen follower of many sports, and a participator in as many as possible. Loves the outdoors in all weather and would happily ski all winter and sail all summer.

Music is also a big part of his life, and while he has an eclectic taste he is drawn towards modern blues based artists. He can even knock out a basic tune or two on his guitar, but never in public.
