Peter spent ten years working for the Inland Revenue before joining KPMG, one of the world’s largest accountancy firms where he spent a further 16 years. He became a qualified Financial Advisor in the mid 1990s and worked with a national firm of Independent Financial Advisers before joining Vale in 2007.

He advises across all areas of financial planning and is regarded as a specialist in taxation issues, particularly Inheritance Tax. His wealth of experience in dealing with tax issues makes him an invaluable source of knowledge and this is further supported by the professional qualifications that he holds.

Peter fully embraces the need to invest his time in building good relationships with his clients so that he can better understand their needs and objectives. He is proud of his knowledge of financial planning issues and solutions and despite his wealth of knowledge still feel that he learns something new each day.

Peter’s devotion to Everton Football Club, he has only missed 5 home games since 1971, can be partly explained by his family connection. It was his Dad who displayed the half time scores around Goodison Park in the days before electronic scoreboards. Once Everton are knocked out of all the competitions and through the summer Peter’s garden gets plenty of attention.
