Simon has worked in Financial Services since 1988 and has been an Independent Financial Advisor since 1994. Working for a National firm of Advisors he provided advice to employees of Smithkline Beecham, Kodak and Sainsbury. He moved to a large firm of solicitors based in Manchester offering advice to personal and corporate clients. He joined Vale in 2004 and has been an integral part of the development of our Portfolio Services.

Simon firmly believes that providing an on-going advisory service to his clients is equally important as the initial advice he gives. He likes to cut through the unnecessary jargon used in the industry so that his clients understand more about the investment world and to give them confidence that their hard earned assets are being well looked after now and in the future. He aims to provide a complete advice service which alongside core investment and pension also includes mortgage advice, Inheritance Tax Planning and Equity Release.

He is married and has twin daughters. Simon likes his holidays and in particular his US visits, City Breaks and trips to Scotland. He would love to play more golf and go out walking more than his spare time allows. He has a keen interest in live music and reckons to have seen more than 250 live performances ranging from Dolly Parton to the Damned. He is still dreaming of a Smiths reunion as he regrets missing them first time around.
