For the first time since writing these articles the sector of the month goes to the Property sector with a return in April of almost 4% on average.

A number of sectors showed good increases but of the sectors reviewed the UK Equity Income sector, wins the sector of the month award for March 2013 for the first time since June 2012. There has been a noticeable diversion to income generating stocks rather than growth since the signs of economic recovery appear bleak.

February 2013 was another strong month with gains across all equity sectors.  The best performer of sectors reviewed and winner of Sector of the Month is Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) which wins for only the second time, the last occasion was October 2011.
